I ordered one of these grips with a 13 round mag and can't get the extra capacity at all. I looked at the "NOTE" that you may need a separate locking plate that Pearce grip offers at no extra charge, but I can't find it. Someone please help!![PG NOTE: If you require the option locking plate, you need to contact Pearce Grip directly, as PistolGear does not carry the part and Pearce Grip does not include it with the extension. You can contact Pearce Grip at info@pearcegrip.com.]

Great addition to my XD

I ordered 3 of these for my XD subcompact 9mm, they were easy to install. The only issue that I have with these is they are a pain in the rear to remove. The extension has a lower floor plate (thats why it holds more lol) so the spring gets hung up on removal.

BUT after searching around the web it appears they will hold 2 extra rounds. I am currently messing with it but it seems true!

Releases spring tension

Good thought but it causes the magazine spring to expand therefore releasing some of the tension. Doesn't feed bullets into chamber properly.

Nice addition.

bought this along with a 13 round XD clip for my XD sub compact. Once installed properly, the extra round and pinky finger rest are great additions to have. Installation was a little tricky though as the spring plate must drop down into groves on the inside of the base plate. I had to fiddle with it to get the install right. Now that it's together correctly, it's very nice!
