BlackHawk Holster for XD

This amazing new Carbon-Fiber Composite holster gives you the most advanced material available for a holster, with a tension-adjustable passive retention system that allows you to select the amount of retention on your gun, from a little to a lot. I bought this holster with the intention of using it for the range and possibally USPSA. It is a really good qulity holster has a fast draw and it is very comfortable. I recently received my carry permit and have use this holster exclusively it conceals very well under a light jacket however the only thing i dont like is the lack of retention if I knew I would use it for carry I would have got the SERPA but overall it is a great inexpensive tough holster!

I purchased this holster for concealed carry use particularly using the paddle feature. I've never owned such a useless holster. Using the paddle option the holster pulls out of the waste band just about every time I draw it. Sometimes I have the gun pointed down range with the holster still attached.....not good!! I've adjusted the tention as loose as I can and the holster still pulls off the waste band. Ive owned several paddle holsters and you usually have pry the things off when you want to remove them(that's a good thing). I thought a company like Blackhawk could have come up with a better design than that. I haven't tried the belt slot option yet nor do I realy want to. I've always prefered a paddle that allows me the option of not using a belt. I'm not all that crazy about the tension adjustment either. I couldn't recomend this holster.

Love it I use it uspsa limited class my draw improved and the ability to adjust cant puts it up with holsters at 3 times the cost . great product
