(Show All) Click to review this product  Dawson are great sights; just pick the right ones!SoCalXD - 11th July 2010 I have a pair of Dawson adjustable sights with tritium on my 5" XD, which I use for my home defense and steel shooting gun... great sights, but they do have sharp rear edges, so they will scratch you if you try and CCW it. On my 3" XD I have a set of fixed Dawson's with Tritium, which are an absolute joy to both carry and shoot; The thin front blade (on both the 3" and 5") provides an ideal sight picture... it's much less blocky than stock or TFOs, but still plenty fast to get on target. I highly recommend the fixed for a carry gun, and the adjustable for gamers. Dawson SightsDavid - 19th May 2010 I had a set of the Dawson sights installed on my XD45ACP by Dave Dawson personally. The sights are great! Dawson SightsRob - 07th June 2009 I got a set of these while back. They are steel and one of the best in the market. one poster said "too sharp of edges to carry". These are competition sights not CCW. Chris Youngberg - 19th August 2008 Great sight and constructed of steel, for those who state its aluminium, throw a magnet on it. Magnets don't stick to aluminum. matt - 13th August 2007 This is one of the best target sights I've used. Well worth the price. It is made of STEEL not aluminum. It does have sharp edges,thats because its a TARGET sight not a carry sight. They are not fragile and do not bend during installation if installed properly.
