This conversion barrel is specific to the newest XD; the XDm. What is a conversion barrel? A conversion barrel allows you to convert your large caliber XD (.40SW) down to a smaller caliber (357SIG) for the benefit of practice and plinking.

Note: For this barrel, you can run your factory spring weight as well as your factory 40S&W magazines.

This is a top quality barrel with excellent fit to the XDm 40 cal. and the customer service was equally good. Looking forward to getting an equally good 9mm "drop in" soon!!!

Great barrel am having notch machined into it to keep guide rod and spring from moving around.Good investment and it can be used as a drop in fit and finish art top notch.
