This is a stainless steel guide for the Springfield XD Service in 9MM/40SW/357SIG/45GAP. This guide rod includes a bushing that allows you to pair the guide rod with standard 1911 springs.

The black finish is not a typical spray finish but a very tough scratch resistant coating; the same finish used on high-end knives and tactical tools. The finish is a matte black, similar to that of the slide's finish.
